Built in 1879 as a schoolhouse, the
Amen Schoolhouse Chalet has been
remodeled into a two-story home with
2,450 sq. ft. of space. Able to sleep up
to 20 persons, it has 6 bedrooms, 4 full
baths, 2 dining areas, and a full kitchen
with a microwave, dishwasher and two
ovens. There is also a living room with a
cathedral ceiling and an electric fireplace.

The Schoolhouse Chalet comes equipped with satellite television, a telephone, and a ski
equipment room. Of particular interest to summer renters are three lovely decks. A covered
deck is adjacent to the ski equipment room and another large open deck is part of the front
yard. A short distance away is a private river deck, perfect for fishing, picnicking or just
plain relaxing while listening to the sound of the rushing mountain stream. This third deck is
available for the use of Amen Mountain Home renters.
