The Schoolhouse can sleep 17 persons, with 5 bedrooms (2 downstairs) and a loft, 4 full baths (2 downstairs), and 2 dining areas.
There's also a spacious kitchen, with a microwave, dishwasher, two refrigerators, and two ovens.
Special features of the Schoolhouse include the cathedral ceiling living room, storage rooms (with racks for coats and skis) and a washer and dryer. Outside, there's a pleasant front yard with a small deck and picnic tables. In back, the larger deck is covered, with a long table and portable barbecue grill (charcoal not provided).

Sleeping in the Schoolhouse will make you a part of Colorado history! It was built in the 1880's as a school, in the mining heyday of Garfield, when the valley had a teeming population of miners and families. The picture below is how the town looked in 1886. The red line points to the Schoolhouse.
